Summary

Employee Handbook Generator is designed to work without an account and without sending your handbook content to a server. The short version: your questionnaire answers and handbook drafts are saved only in your own browser's local storage, and we do not collect employee personal data.

What stays on your device

• Company name, employee count, work states, and other questionnaire answers
• Any section edits you make in the generator
• Your generated handbook drafts

These are stored in your browser's local storage under a employee-handbook-draft key. Clearing your browser data removes them. We cannot recover them, and we never receive them.

What we may collect

Like most websites, the site may use standard, privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and tool events (for example, "handbook started" or "DOCX downloaded"). These events are aggregate: they include the page you came from and coarse company-size buckets — never your company name or other questionnaire answers.

What we never collect

The generator is not designed to accept employee personal records: no employee names, Social Security numbers, payroll data, medical information, complaint details, or individual HR records. Please do not enter such information anywhere on this site.

Cookies and local storage

The site may use a small number of functional cookies (for example, remembering your language and theme choices) and the local-storage draft described above. No advertising cookies are set by the generator itself.

Third-party services

The site may load fonts from Google Fonts. If analytics is enabled, it uses a cookieless or first-party analytics service. DOCX generation happens entirely in your browser.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
